First Meeting

You have met a girl that you like and you are going to go out together for the first time on an "actual date".  The fact that the both of you are interested in each other or in the very least open minded about a relationship is very positive.  This first meeting is the starting point for a potential long term relationship.

Most lesbians are not shy about starting up a conversation with another girl that they have seen and liked especially if the other girl is a lesbian as well.  Most lesbian relationships are more physical.

If you are shy and not sure how to go about starting a conversation, start with a "would you like to go out with me?", or "would it be ok if?" give a little smile and act naturally, mostly try to be as least nervous as you can.  If you start by asking, then if the other person doesn't feel the same way it will be easier for them to say no without feeling uncomfortable.  If the answer is a positive one then try and work out a meeting place that is suitable for both of you which should be preferrably one where it is easy to talk so you can get to know each other better.  

If you are one of those people who find it difficult to make friends or meet new people because you are extremely shy or dont know how to express yourself, then it is recommended to sign up to a self help workshop where you can learn social graces from making the first move to going out on a date.  These workshops will not only help you feel more confident they will also tell you what is wrong and tell you what part of your personality is at fault and help you change.  However for them to succeed you must be open for changes and not one of those people who say "people must like me for what I am" and continue to be shy, sad and alone.

Ok so you have arranged a date and as it is probably a first date the question is where should you go ?,

 The best place to have a first date is a cafe bar or someplace where  it is quiet so it is easy to talk to each other. 

Ok so you have made arrangements where and when to meet.  The next question is what should I wear to give the best impression.

 Dressing for a first date should be casual but not too casual and definitely don't get dressed up with clothing that is fit for a night club or disco as this could give the wrong impression.

Dont forget the impression that you or the other party get on your first date will be a long lasting one and many times a couple can state what the other was wearing on thier first date after many years.

If what you are looking for on this date is just sex or after a while you feel that apart from something physical you cannot see anything happening between you,by all means go for it but don't let that be the obvious target. It is best not to pressure them and think about it too much just let things happen naturally. You never know you might get lucky!
